Representatives of PJSC “Ukrnafta” are very surprised with the Acting Executive Director of “Naftogaz of Ukraine” posting sensitive information on his Facebook page on January 25, 2016 regarding a meeting in the cabinet of Ukraine offices. This seems to follow a repeated pattern where having the full access to the use of official information of the Company’s majority shareholder the Acting Executive Director of Naftogaz publishes confidential information regarding the Company’s activities which is often dissonant with the official position of “Naftogaz of Ukraine” and, in many cases allows himself to distort facts by using the attention of some national media.

For the future, we kindly ask the media to refrain from publishing unverified and false information generated in the way unknown to PJSC “Ukrnafta” by a person who is not an employee of the Company, while using the access to official information by “Naftogaz of Ukraine” in a manner prejudicial to the rights and interests of PJSC “Ukrnafta” and thus deliberately discrediting both the Executive Board of PJSC “Ukrnafta” and the Management of “Naftogaz of Ukraine”.

This behavior seems to be purposely designed to damage the reputation of Ukrnafta and its employees, and also to damage the ability of Ukrnafta and the government of Ukraine to resolve the current challenges in the industry and move forward in a successful way in the future.
