Experts of PJSC Ukrnafta jointly with NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy elaborated an alternative plan of gas supply to four inhabited communities of Dnipropetrovsk region. The company has granted permission to construct a gas distribution pipeline and have it installed into the technical pipeline of PJSC Ukrnafta. This ensures uninterrupted supply of gas to citizens even today, when the company has been compelled to stop production at Yuriivske field once again.
We will remind that PJSC Ukrnafta, executing the decision of the Public Service of Geology and Mineral Resources of Ukraine, stopped production of oil and gas at Yuriivske, Golubivske and Lopushnyanske fields. This led to stoppage of gas supply to the local communities. The Public Service of Geology and Mineral Resources of Ukraine renewed the license for Yuriivske field only until 25 February 2016.
PJSC Ukrnafta emphasizes that such pressure on business may lead to underpayment of taxes, loss of workplaces and stagnation in oil-producing industry of Ukraine.
