After the workover, UKRNAFTA increased the well production rate to 104 tons of oil per day

UKRNAFTA carried out a workover of a well in Poltava region and increased its flow rate by 520 times.

At the suggestion of the Integrated Well Stock Management Division of the Field Development Department, a workover was carried out on one of the wells. The goal is to further explore the Bashkir deposits in the part of the field's deposits that were previously identified as potentially productive.

Before the workover, the well produced 5.2 thousand cubic meters of gas and 0.2 tons of condensate per day. After all the operations were completed, commercial oil and gas inflows were obtained. The initial flow rate was 104 tons of oil, which is 520 times more than before the workover, and 51.5 thousand cubic meters of gas per day.

“I am grateful to the UKRNAFTA team for not only increasing hydrocarbon production but also confirming the importance of additional exploration for the company's further development”, said Sergii Koretskyi, CEO at UKRNAFTA.

The well has now been put into pilot production. This will provide additional geological and production data on the deposit, which is important for estimating the reserves of the field as a whole.
