The Security Service of PJSC Ukrnafta recently uncovered and an illicit connection to the P.Panasivka-Anastasivka oil pipeline in the Romny district of Sumy region.
 
The connection was established using a 5 cm high pipe equipped with a 1.5-inch diameter ball valve. This was linked to a high-pressure rubber hose, ¾ inch in diameter and 1.5 meters in length, with a 1.5-inch diameter ball valve affixed at the end.

Upon detection, officers from the Romny Department of the National Police in Sumy Oblast were alerted, and the crime was officially recorded. The illegal insert was subsequently removed.

Ukrnafta is currently in the process of assessing the damages incurred due to this unauthorized activity. In the meantime, the National Police is actively collaborating with the company to identify the perpetrators behind this illegal operation.
