UKRNAFTA launches "Energy Fund Raising" with Zhadan and Baidak: UAH 100 million for the "Khartiia"

UKRNAFTA, the largest mono-brand network of gas stations, launches an "Energy Fund Raising": UAH 100 million for the needs of the "Khartiia," the 13th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine.

The Campaign starts on February 1, 2025. The goal is to provide crews of "Khartiia" unmanned and ground-based robotic systems. This includes purchase of UAVs, ground-based sapper drones, and tow truck drones. Each such complex is the saved lives of "Khartiia" fighters.

To join the "Energy Fund Raising":

 * fill up 95 Energy gasoline or diesel fuel at the gas station, or buy it through the UKRNAFTA mobile app

 * buy a hot dog or coffee

One Hryvnia from each litre of fuel, hot dog, or coffee will be transferred to the total fundraise. The more specified products, the higher the donation.

You can also deposit money in Monobank.

Comedian Vasyl Baidak and writer and junior sergeant of "Khartiia" Sergiy Zhadan are the faces of the Campaign. The videos, shot at the UKRNAFTA gas station, depict Baidak taking on the role of the network operator, and Zhadan became its favourite customer.

In just two years, UKRNAFTA has transferred over UAH 2 billion to support the Defence Forces.

"Khartiia" is the only unit of the Defence Forces that has made its way from the Volunteer Detachment of Territorial Defence to the combat brigade. The "Khartiia's" combat path began in the spring of 2022 near Kharkiv, when Ukrainian counteroffensive has thrown the Russian invaders outside the state border.

In March 2023, "Khartiia" joined the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine, becoming the basis of the 13th NGU Brigade. It has combat experience in the Svativsky direction, in the Sriblyansky forest and in Bakhmut (as the only VDTD in this operation).

In May 2024, the "Khartiia" stopped the repeated offensive of the Russian Federation on Kharkiv. Now the brigade defends the Kharkiv region from invaders.

At the end of 2024, "Khartiia" conducted the first fully robotic operation, without human participation, using exclusively ground-based robotic systems and drones.
