PJSC “Ukrnafta”, together with the Come Back Alive Foundation, purchased 4 special vehicles for veterans and people with disabilities for a total of UAH 8.5 million. These vehicles will provide comfortable transportation, access to medical services and rehabilitation programs, and facilitate social adaptation of the military after their injuries.
The vehicles are equipped to carry passengers in wheelchairs and are adapted to the needs of drivers with disabilities. They have already been handed over to public and municipal organisations in different cities of Ukraine:
- Stryi - Toyota PROACE CITY (5 passenger seats + 1 wheelchair seat). The car is equipped with an automatic transmission for a driver with double leg amputation.
- Chernihiv - PEUGEOT BOXER (8 passenger seats + 2 wheelchair seats).
- Rivne - Fiat Ducato (8 passenger seats + 2 wheelchair seat).
- Poltava - Fiat Doblo (5 passenger seats + 1 wheelchair seat).
“These are not just cars, but an opportunity for veterans to move around the city, receive medical care faster, participate in rehabilitation programs, and return to active life,” said Sergii Koretskyi, Director of PJSC “Ukrnafta”.
Ukrnafta continues its initiatives aimed to support veterans and create comfortable conditions for their adaptation to civilian life. In early 2025, Ukrnafta joined the initiative of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine and supported the creation of the Veteran Care Space in healthcare facilities. The Company also systematically supports veterans, in particular through the corporate Side by Side Program, providing legal, psychological and material assistance and employment for the military.
