Ukrnafta is investing in the future of the upstream industry. The Company will introduce scholarships, paid internships and employment for young professionals. In addition, it is planned to donate production equipment to teach students not only via textbooks and models, but also using real equipment.

All these will be implemented within the programmes envisaged by the Memorandum of Cooperation with National University “Yuri Kondratyuk Poltava Polytechnic”, which was signed today with Rector Volodymyr Onyshchenko.

The industry has been significantly underfunded over the past decades, which has resulted in an outflow of personnel outside Ukraine, and Ukrnafta, like the industry as a whole, is currently experiencing a significant staff shortage.

“We will help students not only gain practical experience but also create conditions for professional growth and development. Ukrnafta is willing and able to restore the prestige of production professions in the oil industry and involve as many young professionals as possible,” Sergii Koretskyi, CEO of Ukrnafta, said.
