Oleg Gez
Oleg Gez Chairman of the Executive Board

Oleg Gez has over 15 years of working experience in oil industry with a strong focus on the development of Downstream business segment, oil products processing and sales, operational efficiency of sales, retail management and transformations, M&A deals management in oil and gas industry.

Oleg Gez joined Ukrnafta’s team in 2016 first as Director of Planning and Efficiency Control Department. From October 2017 he has been Executive Vice President for Downstream and member of the Executive Board. Oleg Gez temporarily acted as Chairman of the Company’s Executive Board since May 1, 2019. Before joining Ukrnafta Mr. Gez spent 10 years of his career with TNK-BP where he obtained managerial experience in strategic planning, assets management and sales in B2B sector. He was Deputy Director for Economics in VDS (Belarus) as well.

Oleg graduated from Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University with the specialization in project management and consulting (Master’s Degree). He also undertook an internship programme British Chancellor Financial Sector Scheme at Leeds Business School (Leeds, UK) and at Kepstowe Freight Services (London, UK). He also gained degree of Certified Accountant and is a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA, UK).


Iryna Yevets
Iryna Yevets Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, Chief Financial Officer

Iryna Yevets is a professional expert in finance with over 20 years of practical experience, gained at leading Ukrainian companies. Before joining Ukrnafta in December 2015, Mrs Yevets was a Chief Financial Officer at MTS Ukraine (TM Vodafone) from 2011 till 2015. Prior to that, in 2009-2011 Iryna worked at Rosinka company (Orangina Schweppes Group Ukraine up to August 2010) first as a CFO and then as a General Manager. Earlier, she was holding key senior positions at Ukrproduct Group for 7 years. In 1993-2001, prior to her career in Ukrproduct Group, Mrs Yevets was managing an auditing firm AuditJurUslugi in Lviv, Ukraine.

Iryna is a cum laude alumnus from Lviv Forest Engineering University with a major in economics and an EMBA graduate from Rotterdam School of Management Erasmus University in the Netherlands. She is also a certified accountant  (CAP, International Council of Certified Accountants and Auditors).

Mavriky Kalugin
Mavriky Kalugin Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, Executive Vice President for Upstream

Mr. Mavriky Kalugin, is a career oilman with extensive international experience in brownfield and greenfield developments, field management, IOR/EOR projects, technical operations, and general management.  In February 2016, Mr. Kalugin accepted the position of the Executive Vice President Upstream and a member of the Executive Board of Ukrnafta.  Prior to joining Ukrnafta, Mr. Kalugin served as the Country Manager for Petrofac - Romania.  Previously, Mr. Kalugin held senior technical and operating positions with Petrofac Integrated Energy Services – Russia, Cairn India, TNK-BP, Occidental, ConocoPhillips, and ARCO, Alaska.

Mr. Kalugin holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Idaho, is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and a fluent Russian speaker.

Dmytro Mordovenko
Dmytro Mordovenko Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, Executive Vice President Corporate Strategy & Development

Dmytro joined Ukrnafta in November 2019. In January 2020, he became Member of the Executive Board. 

He has many years of experience in the oil and gas industry and in strategic consulting. In particular, he held a number of management positions at TNK-BP and worked as a managing partner in Central and Eastern Europe at PwC Strategy & (former Booz&Co.). In addition, he has experience of working in diversified holdings where he managed investments and led portfolio companies. 

Dmytro Mordovenko graduated from the Kharkiv National University, holds a master's degree from the University of Exeter (UK) and an MBA from INSEAD business school (France). 

As Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and Executive Vice President, Dmytro is responsible for the preparation and implementation of Ukrnafta's strategic initiatives and long-term development plans, management of current and new joint projects, investment and transformation projects.
